Mike Douglas, a highly skilled craftsman, has been involved in the construction trade in Vermont for over 20 years. He combines his love of art and architecture with his expertise in fine homebuilding to create beautiful, distinct homes that will be appreciated for generations to come. Under the name of “Built To Last Construction”, some of his past accomplishments include building the Stratton Mountain School, an addition to the Stratton Town Hall and luxury homes for Greensprings of Vermont in the Mt. Snow area. Mike truly is an artisan in his field, and his homes reflect this. He resides in the town of Stratton, Vermont with his wife and four children. Mike believes in actively supporting his community. He is involved in local schools, the Fire/Rescue Department, is and EMT with Rescue Inc. and serves on their Board of Trustees, and is a past Town of Stratton Selectman and Board Chairman.

Ken Sheppard has owned a vacation home in the Stratton / Mt. Snow area of Vermont for over 25 years. He has been an active real estate investor in land, houses and condominiums. His real estate and business experience is further strengthened by his involvement in condominium management. Since 1992, Ken has served as Vice President and President of one of Connecticut’s most beautiful condominium complexes.

In 1999, Mike and Ken decided to put their skills together, resulting in the founding of Vermont Premier Home Builders, Inc.
